Eve Kerrigan

Eve began taking Pilates in NYC in 1998. She quickly realized that this was the same conditioning exercise she had done in dance classes years before and was excited to be reacquainted with the technique.

Eve went on to study Pilates and receive her certification from Body Awareness Studio in Atlanta in 2002. She then moved to Los Angeles where she honed her skills under studio owners Mari Winsor, Sue Aglietti and Carlos Requeijo before opening her own studio, Reform School Pilates in Santa Monica, CA.

At her studio, Eve partnered with Physical Therapist Amy Fee to build and deliver a Pilates teacher training program for healthcare providers.  Eve then returned to Atlanta and offered services in her home studio and we are lucky she relocated once again to her hometown of Rhode Island. When not teaching you may see her running around town with her beautiful daughter, Pearl.

Kelly Lafontaine

Check out Kelly’s Blog Here.

Kelly is an athlete, adventure goer and an advocate for all over wellness. She found Pilates about 5 years ago while searching for a routine as vigorous as gymnastics. It wasn’t too long after she started that she took a leap of faith to quit her college dream job and get certified to teach. She has most recently completed Level II Peak Pilates Comprehensive training and is on her way to Level III.

Presently in Providence, RI, Kelly is always seeking ways to inspire wellness and instill a passion of Pilates in everyone she meets. Mat Pilates has always been a favorite of Kelly’s; learning the principles of body awareness via mat class will boost the efficiency of any workout, and most importantly, your daily life.

Kelly is also certified as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She believes in healing the body holistically. After learning first hand that nutrition and happiness can heal, she is always looking for more ways to share the miracles of the body. When she’s not teaching, you can find her with her dog, advocating to save the earth, and practicing circus arts.

“My most important goal of all is to help people understand how happiness contributes significantly to one’s health, both physically and mentally. That is how I found my happiness and I’m always seeking more channels to do this.”

Niki Tattersfield

... started Pilates years ago at the suggestion of a friend.  She initially resisted, then agreed to go to ten sessions on the Reformer. After her second session with Maria Andresino, she was hooked!  And, after a couple years as a client, she decided to become an instructor.

Niki completed her apprenticeship through the Jen McWalters Teacher Training Program. She has focused her training on an expanded knowledge of archival material as well as more contemporary Pilates movements.  She has attended additional workshops under esteemed teachers Irene Dowd on the foot, Nancy Myers on the gait and it's connectivity to lower back pain, Leah Stewart for pre- and post-natal Pilates and Brent Anderson on spine health.  She teaches privates and semi-private sessions at her home studio in Easton, MA.

Born in England, she lived in Germany for six years before moving to South Easton, Massachusetts with her husband and four children.  She enjoys sailboat racing and cruising; rides a motorcycle, and is also an avid skier. When not doing pilates, she relaxes by walking her border collie and reading."
